A stunning day where the sun came out and there was a celebratory feel right from the outset. Emma wore a dress with stunning puff sleeves and Mark chose a white tuxedo and black tie. The dress code through out was black tie which suited the venue perfectly. Limekiln has a series of spaces to move through during the day with the bar room being one of the most beautifully designed rooms I’ve photographed in.

I used film and digital to capture the day. There was colour, energy and style in equal measure. I choose to photograph in a manner that is reactive. I generally observe moments to capture the essence and feeling of a day. When the styling is as incredible as it is here I will also take some portraits with a more editorial feel. I like many forms of photography, still life, fashion, people and natural moments will always underpin how I approach weddings but understanding how artist images of details, fashion and the venue can support the whole, also play an important part in documenting the day.
