As soon as I met Sophie and Daudi I knew their day would be a stunning, they were enthused and very excited to chat about their details. It was at the Merriscourt Barn wedding open day where I was invited to show work and chat to couples. One thing I never get tired of is hearing about someones day, despite the fact I’ve photographed well over two hundred weddings. It offers the opportunity for me to find about my clients in front of me. And that in a nutshell is what will subsequently make the photography unique. I love photographing fashion, expression, movement and these things always vary wildly person to person. Mannerisms , subtleties in facial expression and how they respond to each moment in general.
Merriscourt barn wedding photography has the privilege of incredible views, the venue sits above a gentle rolling hill that looks out across stunning Cotswold scenery. The day began with getting ready in the picturesque Cotswolds stone spaces at the venue. The ceremony was, to say the least, heartfelt and beautiful. The guests dressed their best and I’m talking incredible colours, many being the traditional dresses from Uganda. To end the day there was an amazing sunset. The best light for portraits, Sophie wearing a stunning dress from the White Boutique.
