Longlands at Cartmel wedding, Lake Windermere

Longlands is glorious venue to host a wedding and Miriam and Luke had a gorgeous day with the best friends and family along for the ride. The weather although overcast played ball and we were blessed with a stunning sunset that showed the surrounding Lake District to it’s best.  A stones throw from Lake Windermere, Longlands at Cartmel is a perfect location for a wedding. Both Miriam and Luke looked absolutely stunning, totally individual and very stylish as the short post below shows.

Longlands at Cartmel wedding

When weddings have the benefit of incredible landscapes surrounding the venue I feel very lucky. There are so many venues in the UK that have stunning mountains, lakes and woodlands. I’ve photographed weddings in the Moroccan desert and the Andalusian mountains but England still takes my breath away.
