St. John wedding, London
Constance & Henry’s St. John wedding London
A sneak peek from the lovely wedding day of Constance and Henry in the heart of London at the super cool restaurant of St.John in Farringdon. A yellow wedding dress and yellow laces for the grooms shoes, what more do you need. I love a unique look and this wedding had their own stamp front and centre. It felt like a day with great good and but very much centred around people just having a great day in London, chatting, catching up, sharing news and generally just having time to enjoy themselves and talk to each other. St.John weddings in London tend to allow this to happen naturally. The space is well lit, unique but simple. It converts perfectly to a dance floor later in the evening and no-one is ever too far away.
I love taking images in smaller spaces, people packed together creates an energy that literally has a buzz about it. As I say to my clients my photography generally starts with me just listening to the crowd and I naturally zone into the sounds where I feel people are expressing themselves genuinely. Obviously at any social occasion there is a certain amount of apprehension even from the guests but as this lifts the moments then come and I tune to each one as I notice it. Big or small it doesn’t matter as long someone is releasing their personality however that may be.
This was a beautiful day in London at this restaurant and with an abundance of moments.
