A wedding at Cripps barn is a stunning piece of farmland right in the heart of t he Cotswolds near Bibury is always a pleasure. It’s rustic, real, textured and I’ve shot there on several occasions being based in Cheltenham. Jessica and Olly had a relaxed day there and their happiness shines through. The thing I’m almost always trying to do in wedding is give images life and show a beauty that is not only in the colour, composition and light but also in the feeling. I want something communicated in how people move and are expressing themselves. Like many Cripps barn weddings the opportunities for portraits with a stunning rural backdrop is abundant. Jess wore a beautifully minimal styled Stewart Parvin dress.
We were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunset but the real gold is in the faces of Jess and Olly. These really were the good times and everyone present could feel the warmth.
