Petersham Nurseries Wedding
Nana & Kevin had an amazing Petersham nurseries wedding. A totally unique day, or I should say, two days. The below is just the wedding day but maybe at some point I’ll share the stunning picnic which took place in the Cotswolds at Temple Guiting Manor two days earlier. But anyway back to the wedding, the reason I say unique is that Kevin and Nana knew exactly what type of atmosphere they wanted to create and holding a wedding at a garden centre is not an obvious choice but what a backdrop it turned out to be. It provided the kind of floral semi-outdoor dinning that’s closer to South West Spain than South West London. As a wedding venue Petersham Nurseries is truly unique. It’s not somewhere you would normally associate with an occasion like this but it’s very much more than somewhere with flowers. It’s food and feeling are the epitome of attention to detail.
There was no celebrant or registrar, Nana and Kevin conducted their own ceremony themselves. This created such a special feeling. Perhaps the only person present unconnected to the family was myself. But the atmosphere created in the group of their closest friends and family circled closely around them was truly beautiful.
Here are two emails sent to me after the day:
“Hi David
Thank you so much! We’ve been so busy we haven’t had time to look through all of them yet but from what we’ve seen they’re amazing!
Thank you as well for being a friend on those few days, always happy to help out and join in on the fun, we really appreciate that.
We’ll let you know again when we’ve looked through everything and about all the wonderful comments I’m sure we will receive then 🙂
Nana ”
This is how it rolled out.

And lets go back to the start. Here’s the long version, starting with a sunny day at the garden centre (well a pretty amazing one that also hosts weddings and has a killer cafe and restaurant).

Fab wedding photos. Great use of color and the black and whites are great.
