Wedding in a French Chateaux

Fionnuala and Julien got married recently in France not too far from the Alps and I was lucky enough to be invited to photograph the day. Fionnuala was actually a childhood friend of one of my past clients, the lovely Victoria from this fantastic Irish wedding. Lets just say the chateaux was special. Juliens family are from the area, Contrevoz a small village maybe an hour from Annecy and his aunty saw the chateaux nestled on top of a hill and wondered if the owners would be open to having the wedding there. She knocked on the door and luckily for them the owner was only too happy to provide his chateaux – simple as that!
